Blood Type: the Search is the brainchild of screenwriters John Matthews and Wil Kinghan (Men Are Perfect, Churchill’s Magicians). Featuring a radical new take on the perennial favourite them of Vampires, it is the first production of newly formed, UK based Mythwood Films.

A short teaser for the Series was filmed in London at the famous Atlantis Bookshop & at the Prebendle, Oxfordshire recently and was launched at the London Film and ComiCon (18-19th July 2009) to an audience of over 150 people. Featuring a talented cast of young actors, directed by ‘Transformers’ star Mark Ryan and narrated by TV and Movie legend Jason Connery (Robin of Sherwood).

Post production was at Screenscene, Dublin and musical score by composer Mick Kiely.

Blood Type: The Search also features a first in the musical and acting talents of R.J.Gibb (Belisar),
who appears in the promo on a new, unrecorded song by Robin (Bee Gees) and R.J. Gibb callled
'Instant Love'!
